It has been brought to our attention that the earn type for one-time payments for Clinical Coverage Overload was configured in Workday to post as Excess Compensation (E/C) when they should actually be recorded as Temporary Pay Supplements (TPS). The ISC is updating configuration now, and this issue will be corrected on paychecks moving forward. Of course, there are implications for the earnings that have already posted, and we are devising a solution to adjust those to the proper earn type. We will communicate our plan for making corrections once it is finalized.

The current configuration was developed based on the requirements that were provided to the HRPM program during the Workday design phase. We really appreciate this type of attention to detail and partnership, which brought this mistake to light and provided us with the proper information to update the configuration so Workday processes work better for all.
