Important Workday Tips from the Integrated Service Center

September 5, 2017

It’s easier than ever to access and monitor your payroll and benefits information! Here are some quick steps you can take to get the most out of Workday.

  1. Submit timesheets on time. Yep, this one’s obvious. But if you wanna get paid, you’ll need to submit your time (and time off requests) for approval by each pay period’s deadline. Use this handy calendar to determine payroll cutoff dates (highlighted in red).
  2. Make sure your address is correct: Incorrect addresses are one of the biggest slowdowns for delivering paychecks and establishing benefits. It’s easy to update your permanent address.
  3. Enroll in Direct Deposit at any time: If you’re ready to go paperless, use the Pay worklet to change your payment election. It may take up to two pay periods for the first deposit, but you’ll still be mailed your paycheck in the meantime!
  4. Attach proper documentation when enrolling dependents in health plans: When adding dependents to medical and/or dental plans, don’t forget to attach the required dependent verification in Workday.
